PURCHASES IN THE FIRST WEEK

When I launched ads for Saramani House Secret in late August, we weren’t sure how the market would respond. With a small budget and only a week to test, we needed quick signals to prove whether this African artisan brand could scale.

The first week was about testing demand and finding a winner. With only $745 in spend, the ads generated $1,666 in sales at a 2.23x ROAS. This gave us the green light to scale. From there, I optimized budgets into the top-performing creatives—leather bags and home décor videos—while tightening audience targeting and pacing spend.

Over the next 30 days, we scaled investment to $2,556 and drove $4,761 in revenue across 50 purchases. ROAS held steady at 1.86x, proving that the account could sustain higher spend while still bringing in new customers profitably.
Saramani House Secret was new to paid media. The brand had little historical ad data, a limited testing budget, and the challenge of introducing artisan products to a wider online audience. In Q4, most brands face rising ad costs, but here the challenge was simpler: prove the model works and build a system that could grow without wasting money.

The first week had to deliver answers fast. Which products would resonate? Which creatives could actually convert strangers into buyers? By moving quickly from testing to scaling, we didn’t just answer those questions—we built the foundation for profitable growth.

The framework was simple: start small, test fast, and double down on what works. In week one, the focus was on speed: launch ads, collect data, and validate demand. By week two, I had already shifted budget into the highest-performing creatives. As the weeks rolled on, we scaled spend while tightening targeting and retargeting warm audiences.

This phased approach meant that every dollar spent in September built on the one before. By the end of the month, Saramani House Secret had moved from a testing phase into a profitable growth track, with proven creative winners and a stable system to scale further in Q4.

THE EXECUTION

Execution was about moving quickly without breaking efficiency.

I didn’t waste time on endless testing or slow pivots. When the leather bag and home décor videos proved they could convert, I scaled budgets behind them immediately. Each week built momentum, and even as spend grew 3.5x, performance stayed stable.

What started as a small test in late August turned into 50 purchases and nearly $5K in revenue within 30 days. The brand went from “let’s see if ads even work” to “we’re ready to keep growing.”
